Monthly PAC reports are due by the 5th of each month. A monthly report covers a period beginning the 26th day of one month (except for the first monthly report) and ending on the 25th day of the next month. The report for that period is due by the 5th day of the month after the month in which the reporting period ends. See When To File Monthly Reports of the PAC Guide for examples and information. Monthly reports must be filed regardless of whether the political committee accepted any contributions or expenditures during the reporting period.
A candidate who did not select modified reporting and is opposed in an upcoming election must file reports of contributions and expenditures by the 30th day and the 8th day before an election. Election data is captured only for general and primary elections. Data is sorted by name unless followed by * which has the data sorted by amount. Consult the Campaign Finance Guides for more information regarding this requirement.
Candidate and Officeholders with treasurer appointments on file must file reports of contributions and expenditures twice a year in January and July regardless of whether they accepted contributions or expenditures during the filing period.
