Pending Advisory Opinion Requests

The TEC will consider a pending advisory opinion request at a public meeting. A staff draft of the opinion is typically published a week before the meeting at which it will be considered. A staff draft has no legal effect unless adopted by a vote of at least five commissioners.

The public is invited to send written comments on any pending advisory opinion request to public_comment@ethics.state.tx.us or to provide oral comments at the public meeting at which the opinion is being considered.
