This verifier will describe each format error found in each line of your CSV file. Your file will not be uploaded to the Texas Ethics Commission through this verifier.
This tool only checks the format of the data in your CSV file.
After you correct all your formatting errors found with this verifier, you can import your CSV file into the Campaign Finance filing application. After you successfully import your CSV file into the Campaign Finance filing application, you can select “Check For Errors” to list other problems you may have with your data, such as missing addresses. The filing application may find other import errors, such as an out of range date.
